Kochi: The Women’s Premier League 2027 mini auction takes place at the Grand Hyatt in Kochi on Wednesday, with five franchises bidding to fill just 27 slots from a pool of 150 players. This page brings you every confirmed sale with prices, the notable unsold names, the remaining purse and the updated squads, updated after every set as the auction unfolds.
The auction begins at 5:30 PM IST. A total of 150 players — the original shortlist of 146 plus four late additions — are in the pool, but only 27 can be bought, including just seven overseas slots. Sixty-three players were retained across the five teams before the auction. UP Warriorz hold the biggest purse at ₹3.75 crore and have the most work to do with eight slots open, while defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru, boosted by Ellyse Perry’s return, have ₹1.15 crore to spend.
